Easter...only a couple of weeks late

We try to get out of this , this year with everything going on,but I think if we didn't have them color eggs we would've regret it. It been awhile to have a little one at the table, coloring eggs. Kjell was too young last year to get in the thick of things, but he was so excited to do it this year. The funny thing is he had the same colors as the rest of them, but only seem to like green...some might remember when Erik was little, him eating the blue tablet. He still doesn't believe he did this, but we have pictures to prove it.

Well this year it was the green dye for Kjell. He couldn't get the eggs in the green dye fast enough. He keep using his hands to put the eggs in the dye. Some times trying to get 3 eggs in dye at a time. Yes, silly us this was 2 days before Sunday. What was I thinking...

The rest had fun too.... here is Erik, Lauren, Kathryn and Karl dying eggs.

Next Kjell went on a practice run at Grandma's House... it was more for Grandma and Grandpa to see Kjell hunt for eggs.
The next day we went to my sister, Cheri's Annual Easter Egg Hunt at her house. The kids collected about a 3 dozen a piece...way to much candy filled eggs, but they thought it was great. Karl went for prize eggs that took him about 10 minutes to get to it, there was about 1/2 roll of duct tape around it. Kjell notice they had candy in them and stop after the first one. All the kids took a prize home. Here are some of the pictures:

Easter morning...boy did it come early. We have early morning church. Here is what the Easter Bunny brought:

I was thinking that I would have their hair cut and make them dress up again before I posted these, but who am I kidding, it like pulling teeth at my house to have my boys dress up..maybe Mother's Day if I could be so lucky. Here are some pictures of my handsome boys in their Easter outfits:

Spring Break, Disneyland and Moore

I'm sorry I have not posted in a looooong time. We went to Disneyland for Spring Break for those who don't read Sara's Blog. I didn't realize that most of Washington and California would have their Spring Break at the same time. We met a lot of people in the lines that came from Washington. And there was a lot of waiting in lines. The last day they figured out if you go as a single rider, you can go on alot faster. They had a blast not riding with each other. They are all real social people, who like to meet new people. We also met a lot people from New Zealand and Australia in our hotel that was on Spring Break as well.

Erik's Favorite Ride is the Thunder Mountain:

Karl's and Lauren's Favorite Ride is the California Screamin:

Kathryn's and My Favorite Ride is the Grizzly River Run:

They had fun with Goofy...Goofy took Lauren's Hat then she was about to tell Goofy how much she paid for it but didn't. Then he quickly gave it back to her. Nothing is cheap in Disneyland.

This was Erik's first time on Plane which made him real nervous. He kept on saying that "it only takes two days to get there by car". He surprises me that he worry about that ,but wanted to ride the Hollywood Tower of Terror over and over. Every time...I get on it, it scares me and I know what to expect.

We had a lot fun and it was nice not having Kjell there. The kids were able to ride as much as they wanted and when ever they wanted...me too! I got to ride on Autopia for the first time. It was harder then I thought it would be. I thought you just sit in car and it pulled you around the course. Nope, Erik got to drive it and boy did he hit those corner. I love trading the pins just as much as the kids...I wish we bought a lot more on EBay before we left. We had so much fun trading them with Cast Members. We ran out of trader on Thursday...but all of them have two lanyards of their own.

I caught a Leprechaun

I wanted to post this on St. Patrick's Day but with all the confusion that day it didn't happen. After Kjell having a runny nose, fever and coughing for over a month, I took him back to see the doctor. He had to get a chest x-ray...if you have seen this done to small child you will know what I mean that the thing they had to strap him into was like a medieval torturing device. I felt so bad for him, but I know that it needed to be done. They could hear liquid in his left lung and wanted to make sure he didn't have pneumonia. He didn't luckily, but he had a major sinus infection and his ears were really red inside. After 3 looooooooooong hours later....They gave him some antibiotics to make him feel better. He absolutely hates the medicine though, Auntie Sara has had to help me get it down him.

Erik had crazy hair day at school and it was St. Patrick's Day. Auntie Sara sent some green hair spray to Grandma's House for me to spray in his hair. With is face being so white and the eyebrows red and curved like they are, he looked like a leprechaun. He is so cute and he is truly a great treasure to have. I did find something at the end of a rainbow...my boys.

I do it!!! Kjell and his Independance

I think I have this before, but Kjell drives me crazy. He has to do everything on his own. I would be okay with that if he didn't create such messes for me to clean up. He decide that he would rather not eat if he can't feed himself. I finally gave up and just bring extra clothes to work to change him after he eats. I not sure how much he eat verses how much he spills all over him and around him. Here are some of the pictures from today's lunch:

I should of took pictures of the table and floor...they were worsts of a mess then Kjell. I just remember when Karl was little that if he spilled anything on himself, he would have to change his clothes and wash his hands and face. He was such a dainty eater. Even Erik didn't make this much of mess when he ate. I should know better to stay away from soups, but he loves to eat soup. All I could smell was broccoli cheddar soup when driving home from his clothes I need to wash.
