5 Little Pumpkins

Five little pumpkins Sitting on a gate

The first one said,"Oh, my, it's half past eight!"

The second one said,"There are witches in the air!"

The third one said,"Good folk, beware!"

The fourth one said,"We'll run and run and run!"

The fifth one said,"Let's have some fun!"

OOOOOOOH, went the wind

And OUT went the light

And the five little pumpkins

Rolled out of sight

We had fun at Craven's Farm on our annual hunt for the Great Pumpkin. Afterward we went back to our house and carved pumpkins. Here are some of the pictures:

Benjamin was the sucker that helped all the kids with carving out their pumpkins. It's good having a brother-n-law that enjoys this... my husband sure doesn't. It turned out to be a very nice day and the kids had fun.

Kjell's first haircut

Thursday, I went to have Kjell's first real haircut. I had finally had it. I was going to get his haircut, much to Matthew's dismay. He finally agreed that I could go have it cut...only thing, he wasn't thinking that I was going to do it so quickly. The only thing that he said was that Grandpa had to go with me. So I called up his Dad and off we went. Daddy wasn't there and Grandma was out of the office. If they had known that I was going to do this they would have stopped me.

My husband is still mad at me for this.... We had Erik's hair long until at least 2 years maybe longer. My boys have these pretty locks that curl...so it looks cute long. The only problem with Kjell's hair it grew all up front so he always had to have it up to be able to see. I know that he is all boy...but I think that everyone else should know it too. Here is my little boy....

This isn't the best picture of him... he was given sucker to keep him still and he ran it through hair before we could take the picture. I like it and Grandpa likes it... Matthew wishes it was still long.

The New Girl at the Office

We have been growing at work, getting new clients and starting up some new businesses. We needed to get a new receptionist in the front office to help answer the phone and greet people that come into the office. We have been looking for someone and we finally found one...

The only problem is she can't speak, write or file, but we love her(him) anyways.

We have someone that is starting Monday that I think she will work at just fine.

Everyday I get home from work the boys ask how was Kjell's day at the office? Not, Mom how was your day ? What funny thing did Kjell do at the office? Well, this day was one of the better ones...Let say I do a lot of refiling, vacuum a lot more, make sure that Kjell doesn't sit on Lily, make sure that Kjell is not throwing things down the toilet or shutting the Server off...this list could go on forever. I love my Kjell...but some days are better then the others.

The office will be fully staffed with a few extras... What's going to happen when we have two of them are fully mobile... look out office it might be sooner then you expect. Lily is already trying to roll over.

Family Days

With Matthew busy with work, we try to at least a couple times a year spend the whole day as a family and do something fun. This was our day...we went to Easy Records in West Seattle (if you ever need a music CD that you can't find anywhere, this is the place to find it!).

Next, we went to the West Seattle Market which was really neat. I never knew that Cauliflower can come in green. (So if you ever need something to feed a "Greeny", that would be on my list.) The fruits and vegetables were incredible. The boys had some European pastries...Karl liked it, but Erik wanted to have the fruit instead. I would love to able to buy at a market like this everyday.

Next we went to see a friend of Matthew. He owns a Mexican restaurant in Ballard. We stuffed ourselves with some "good foods" (this comes from a book that I have to read every night to Erik called BooBoo, "good foods, she said" on every other page, that is Erik favorite part to read from this book).

Next we went to Woodland Park Zoo...We had lots of fun there. Here are some of the pictures

Our family has the Family Pass for the Zoo and the Aquarium. If you have small kids, I would like to recommend this, even if you only go a couple of times a year. We love going over and over again.

After that we were tired so we went home and collapsed. (well, I was not...hee, hee. I could go for another couple of hours.)

Sleepless in Mooreland

We finally have a kid that will sleep in his own crib...Yipeee! But none of my kids when they very small slept through the night. So we are happy if we can sleep a couple of hours by ourselves before we get a kid in the middle of us.

Matthew finally convinced me that we needed a King size bed when Erik was born. Now I wondered... what was I thinking. A King size is the only way to go.

I finally got to a sound sleep then Kjell woke up crying. So I had to go get him because my kids just don't fall back to sleep on their own. So now Kjell was sleeping in between Matthew and I. A couple of hours later, Erik woke up and crawl into our bed. Now of course, he has to sleep in the middle. So he crawl over us to get in the middle...waking up everyone in the bed. Now, Kjell and Erik are in bed with us. Now do you see why a Queen size wouldn't work? Let say it was a hard night. None of of Moores' can sleep still ; they are always moving ...all night long. So I lying there in the middle of night trying to fall back to sleep. Matthew wakes up to go to work and always says "This can't happen again! I can't sleep very good with my kids in our bed" Of course, he the one that let Erik sleep in the middle all the time. Matthew says he can't remember telling Erik in the middle of the night that he can sleep with us but Matthew has to lifts up the blanket for Erik to crawl in.

It took me over hour to fall back to sleep. All I think of was this blog that I needed to post something soon or my sister -n-law, Sara, was going to kill me. She was so excited to hear that I was going to have blog that she helped me make up this page. She check it on daily basis to see if I have posted anything. So, with her nagging me all the time (Sara works with me), I should have at least one blog a week.

I Finally Did It!

So, I finally did it. Here is my blog page. I'm not much of writer , but I think those who know me... know that already. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I think this is good way to write down things and share pictures of my family so all will know what is happening in our lives.

After days of this draft on here Sara is here making me post this hahahaha.
