A Very Special Day

Karl received the Aaronic Priesthood today. Here is the picture of all the people that came to share this special with Karl and his Family. We all squeezed into a small room a little bigger than this stair way. We are so proud of Karl and his decision he has made to be worthy to receive this priesthood.
I had to stand up in front of the Primary today and give a talk about Karl. I think he was more embarrassed by his mother crying than the baby pictures I sent around the room. The other day I found something he made using my name so I thought this would be a great way to share my feelings about Karl in Primary...this what I tried to say:

K - Kind- Karl is very kind to others and makes friends easily. King- He was name after a Swedish King . He is from royal birth. He is a king in my eyes. I very bless to have in my life.

A -Adore- His brothers love and cherish him . They always want to be near him. Actor- Loves to act and had many star roles in plays. Athletic - He great at sports of all kinds, but most of all loves to run and he is real good at it. He wants to join cross country this year in school.

R - Responsible - Karl helps around the house and watches over his little brother. Respectful - He is very respectful to the people around him.

L - He is loved and is very lovable.

My girls that teach in Primary told me ..."it was good but you shouldn't of cry...Karl isn't going anywhere". I know but in a few years he will be off on mission, next getting married, then having kids of his own . My little boy isn't little anymore he is becoming a man. Today he took another great step in life. I'm so proud of him. I love him very much. I know that he was sent to this family for a purpose. I am so glad to be his Mom.

Happy Birthday Karl!

Can you believe it? I can't. My "Littleman" is twelve today. He will be ordained to a Deacon tomorrow at church. My little Karl passing the sacrament??? I am very proud of him and the decision he has made to receive the priesthood. I just still can't believe that.... he is twelve.
We will have 7 - twelve year olds this year in our families (Countryman & Moore). Dansil was the first one to turn twelve in March, Veronica in April, Karl and Lauren in June, Gavin in August, Victoria in October and Reece in December. What were we thinking.
I love you, Karl, have a wonderful birthday!

Look Who Is Two

Happy Birthday Kjell!
It is amazing to me that he is two already. He still is into everything that he not suppose to be. Loves being outside, he would stay outside for hours if I would let him. Loves Harley Motorcycles, every time a motorcycle come by he has to point it out, of course everything is "Harley". Loves foods...constantly in the cupboards opening up the cereal boxes and pouring himself a bowl. Lately we been finding bite marks out of the vegetables in the garden. Loves his brothers a lot. He wakes them up in the morning with screaming their names and giving them a kiss. Loves is Daddy more than me...that can be annoying sometimes. Won't sleep in his crib anymore...wants to be next to someone. Loves the bath, Pizza, Spongebob Squarepants, music and dancing. Wants to do things all by himself. Walks up and down stairs with the use of the handrail. Very independent still. Loves being in the action. I love you Kjelly, have a great birthday.

I'm Still Here

I lost my camera (which is Sherrie's camera, that I don't plan on giving back:). I was never a big fan of digital picture taking, but to be able to post or see a pictures instantly has it advantages. My first real camera came from my parents on Graduation and it something I'm truly grateful and will cherish it for my rest of my life. I have shot a lot of precious moments and wonderful memories with it. I just have to remember to look at my scrapbooks to see them. I love pictures. Every time you look at pictures it sparks a memory you had.

I been moving my Craft(crap) Room up stairs to make room for Anna, our exchange student from Sweden coming to school this fall. It has given me the chance to look at my scrapbooks that I have not looked at for a very long time. For those who don't do this I hope you start and those who already do scrapbooking know how fun it is. This a great way to keep records of your family to be share with generations to come. All the wonderful memories and to be able to share them with my kids that is... priceless.

Easter...only a couple of weeks late

We try to get out of this , this year with everything going on,but I think if we didn't have them color eggs we would've regret it. It been awhile to have a little one at the table, coloring eggs. Kjell was too young last year to get in the thick of things, but he was so excited to do it this year. The funny thing is he had the same colors as the rest of them, but only seem to like green...some might remember when Erik was little, him eating the blue tablet. He still doesn't believe he did this, but we have pictures to prove it.

Well this year it was the green dye for Kjell. He couldn't get the eggs in the green dye fast enough. He keep using his hands to put the eggs in the dye. Some times trying to get 3 eggs in dye at a time. Yes, silly us this was 2 days before Sunday. What was I thinking...

The rest had fun too.... here is Erik, Lauren, Kathryn and Karl dying eggs.

Next Kjell went on a practice run at Grandma's House... it was more for Grandma and Grandpa to see Kjell hunt for eggs.
The next day we went to my sister, Cheri's Annual Easter Egg Hunt at her house. The kids collected about a 3 dozen a piece...way to much candy filled eggs, but they thought it was great. Karl went for prize eggs that took him about 10 minutes to get to it, there was about 1/2 roll of duct tape around it. Kjell notice they had candy in them and stop after the first one. All the kids took a prize home. Here are some of the pictures:

Easter morning...boy did it come early. We have early morning church. Here is what the Easter Bunny brought:

I was thinking that I would have their hair cut and make them dress up again before I posted these, but who am I kidding, it like pulling teeth at my house to have my boys dress up..maybe Mother's Day if I could be so lucky. Here are some pictures of my handsome boys in their Easter outfits:
