Anna Fornander

We are so excited to be able to host a foreign exchange student from Sweden for this school year. Anna arrived on Friday, the 4th. I was so nervous to meet her that I forgot me camera so her a couple of pictures I took from my cell. My kids we excited too. Every time someone would walk by Kjell would waved to them. He didn't know what Anna looked like, but knew how to say "Anna" name before she arrived. Of course Erik was to busy playing his DS....so I didn't get any pictures of him, but since we gotten home, he won't leave her alone for a second.
We took to the her to see one of our family's favorite spots this weekend, the Seattle Aquarium. Here are some of the pictures:

My Life According to Celine Dion

Okay, I know what you thinking, but if I could pick anyone that I could go see, it would be her. I even have 8 of her Cd's. My friend Pete asked me to do this and I couldn't figure out how to do it in Facebook so I'm doing on my Blog instead.

Using only song names from ONE ARTIST, cleverly answer these questions. Pass it on to 12 people you like and include me. You can't use the band/artist I used. Try not to repeat a song title. It's a lot harder than you think! Repost as "My Life According to (BAND NAME)"

Pick your artist: Celine Dion

Are you a male or female? Treat Her Like A Lady

Describe yourself. I'm Your Angel

How do you feel? I'm Alive

Describe where you currently live. Halfway to Heaven

If you could go anywhere, where would you go? A paradise under the sun

Your favorite form of transportation is? Fly

Your best friend is? My Love

Your favorite color is? Skies of LA

What's the weather like? Let the rain come down

Your favorite time of day is? New Dawn

If your life was a TV show, what would it be called? If You Could See Me Now

What is life to you? The Greatest Reward

Your relationship? When The Wrong One Loves You Right

Your fear is? Eyes On Me

What is the best advice you have to give? Love Can Move Mountain

If you could change your name, you would change it to: Beauty

Thought for the day:Love The One Your With

How would you like to die? Immortality

Your soul's present condition is? A New Day Has Come

Your motto is? Taking Chances

Bridget, Sara, Benjamin, Michelle, Teri Jo, Joddy, April and any one else who reads my blog...Which artist would you pick?

It was so hot...we Boyled!

It is amazing how fast this Summer is going...only a couple of weeks and it back to school time. We had a very busy month in July. With Matthew's Union Picnic (he is the ice cream guy....I'm always surprise that he has enough for the kids...you know what I mean), me flying down to California twice to have my teeth worked on (which I think was so worth it, Thanks, Doug!!) and going to our family reunion in Utah the month went so quickly it's hard to remember all that we did.

It was very hot July in Washington, 27 days of no rain...we were in Utah when it was really hot here. But it so different here then in Utah. In Utah it is so dry it's almost hateful. And the nights don't get cooler like they do here.

The Boyle Family Reunion (Grateful Dead Tour 2009) it was great to see all of Matthew's Relatives from his Mother's side. We did a lot of fun things together. The Spruces were gorgeous especially when coming down the mountains and it was much cooler up there then down in Salt Lake City. Sorry I didn't have my camera so I don't have pictures.
I think though my kids had fun and they love going on vacations. I really enjoyed going to the museums, especially the Daughters of the Utah Pioneer. The quilts, samplers, the artwork made of their hair, and wagons that came across the Plains they were amazing to see. Also I enjoyed taking them to Temple Square on are last day we were there. Here are some pictures from Temple Square:

We also went to "This is the Place", which I had never been to before. It was really neat to see.

It was great to come home. Home Sweet, Home! Nice to sleep in my own bed, eating a home cook meal(we did have a couple real "Good Eats"...I think it is called the Garden Room, it was sooo good in Joseph Smith Building), be able to relax in your own home and it so much cooler here in Washington... we don't have to Boyle.

4th of July Holiday Fun

My kids are so excited when it is the 4th of July. They can blow things up all day long and not get in trouble for it. They ahead off to Boom City (It is on the Indian Reservation. They have a lot of vendors selling fireworks that legal and illegal) at 9:30am. The truck was packed with people: my brother-n-law, Benjamin, Lauren, Kathryn, Karl, Erik and Matthew was driving.

I forgot to get my tabs on my red truck ...my husband got pull over for expired tabs..let say he was not very happy with me. The police officer must of seen all the 4 kids in the truck because he let him off with a warning. It is $250 fine for expired tabs. The police officer must of known where they were going. Lucky they were going down to Boom City and not coming back because the officer could of confiscated the firework they bought. They came back a few hours later with lots and lots of fireworks...of course the kids didn't think so. They had a enough to blow up for a couple of hours. Here are some pictures:

Lily loved watching the fireworks.
Kjell on the other hand did not like it the fireworks at all ; which surprises me all the rest of kids had to be in the thick of it all. They were lighting fireworks at the age 2 or earlier.
It was fun day and no one got too burnt... Hope you had a fun 4th of July.
